Spivdiia: an official platform for humanitarian aid has been launched in Ukraine

In Ukraine, an official platform has been created to unite volunteer and state initiatives for humanitarian aid during the war – “Spivdiia”.

Spivdiia: Humanitarian & medical care

The volunteer association “Spivdiia” is coordinated with the Office of the President of Ukraine’s support and with the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The creation of the platform was initiated by volunteers together with the Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian and Social Affairs for the effective organization of assistance to the population.

How does the platform work?

Based on the platform, there is an interaction of individuals, volunteer organizations and foundations. Verified volunteers help citizens in real-time – collect all needs and available resources, promptly send humanitarian aid and medical supplies to those who need it most, namely: the population and volunteers, institutions that accept IDPs, shelters.

Soon, “Cooperation Hubs” will be opened based on youth centers and public organizations for faster interaction with the needy and the creation of additional social services.

Spivdiia is an initiative of volunteers and public authorities, which guarantees the safety of both donors and recipients.

What help is involved?

Humanitarian aid: food, hygiene products, clothes, mattresses, household appliances, etc.

Medical resources: medicines and equipment.

Service assistance: Driver men between the ages of 18 and 60 who cross the border to carry out international road haulage may apply to travel abroad to carry humanitarian goods.

How to get or offer help?

Citizens or organizations in need of assistance can fill out the appropriate form on spivdiia.org.ua. Coordination hub specialists will call to confirm the request. Applications are processed in order of criticality and time.

Individuals or volunteer organizations with humanitarian or medical resources can also offer assistance by contacting the coordination hub specialists through the platform.

How to help provide logistics?

Owners of vehicles, individuals or transport companies can provide cars, trucks, buses and minibuses and register as drivers for transportation between countries, in hot spots in their area, city or village, and points without active combat action.
